What would have been a casual and refreshing trip out of town for the weekend, ended up in a frighteneing and disturbing return to town when we realized we had been robbed. My fiance and I walked in the door of what would normally be a peaceful and comforting sight, only to find our home had been cleaned out of all valuables, primarily every electronic device we owned. Among the list was my cherished HP HDX18 laptop which was anything but cheap! Even though we learned that the suspect had been jailed, and was later convicted, it was not comforting to know my laptop was still out there somewhere, stolen from me and sold for drugs. I cannot express the comfort and gratitude I have as I type this short recovery story, knowing that a very affordable and easy to use service has helped bring what is mine back to me. The fact is that if I hadn’t had the Lojack for Laptops software on my laptop, I almost certainly would have never seen this computer again…plain and simple. The support team was very informative and patient with me as I did made my periodic phone calls to them while the laptop was missing in action. The online status checks also made things very easy to monitor the progress of the recovery. In conclusion, I am very thankful for the recovery of my laptop, which would not have been possible without Lojack for laptops.
